Meet the founders

Angie Walker

Angie Walker has 25 years' experience in high value, mission-critical platform sales and business development across a wide range of financial technology-types and diverse operate models.

Angie was most recently assigned as Global Sales and Business Development Director to a fledgling FinTech under its PE owners .
Prior to this she held the position of Global New Business Sales Director at Fidessa, the FTSE 250 bluechip Trading Technology provider.
Angie spearheaded all of the major new operate model and product initiatives for Fidessa over her 14 years there. With over £200M in contract value secured over the term she was instrumental in driving its revenue growth from £20M to £300M+/pa. She lead the product positioning and commercial launch of both their SaaS and Managed Enterprise services offerings globally as well as execute more than 80 of Fidessa’s new client agreements over that same period.
Prior to Fidessa she spent 9 years with ICV Ltd selling data and trading platforms to the UK banking and brokerage marketplace and growing its revenues to £25M/pa before it was sold to Primark (Thomson) in 1998.

Ian Salmon

Ian Salmon has 25 years’ experience within the financial markets, the most recent 16 of those in senior product marketing and business development roles within financial trading software.

He was most recently Business Development Director at analytics company ITRS.
Before this, Ian was Head of Business Development at Fidessa, where he ran a global team of product marketing and business development managers responsible for marketing strategy, target market and product and service positioning, launches, press and event sponsorship and pre-sales support.
He also spearheaded the firm’s MiFID regulatory programme. Ian has also held strategic marketing positions at Reuters and various regulatory management roles within Exchanges. Ian began his City career as a registered trader in the London, Scandinavian and Far Eastern markets.
